When Mom & Dad Run Out of
Money... by Savvy Writers
Part one of four- Creative financial
options for baby boomers to assist their parents with
their costs of living
Its
a dilemma for the ages. As Depression-era elders reach
their declining years, their baby-boomer children worry
that their parents will run out of money before they run
out of years.
Even supplemented by Social Security and pension
payments, the nest egg that your parents took a lifetime
to build isnt likely to be enough to cover an
extended stay in a nursing home, assisted-living facility
or even geriatric care assistance at home. Few seniors
carry long-term-care insurance or have enough savings to
cover the bills. Most people go through their assets
within a year of requiring this type of assistance.

Keep
Your Senior's Spirits Bright During the Holidays by Source
Finders
Although
the holiday season is supposed to be a time of sharing
good times with family, oftentimes people, especially
seniors, find that "Season's Greetings" bring
stress, feelings of disappointment and sadness.
While some people suffer holiday depression for a
combination of reasons, others might succumb to a single
factor, and still others seem to become depressed for no
apparent reason. The "holiday blues" can easily
be triggered for seniors due to things such as:
If You
Own a Building Worth $750,000 or more- Listen Up!
IF YOU OWN
A BUILDING WORTH $750,000 or more or a friend does listen
up!!! The magic words to
accelerate depreciation on that building is COST
SEGREGATION.
Heres how it works.

A
young boy about five or six years was talking on
the telephone. As his dad listened on, the
youngster told his grandparents
dejectedly,"Mom is in the hospital, so the
twins and Roxie, Billy, Sally, the dog, and me

Savvy Travel
Grandparents
traveling with grandchildren is one of the
fastest-growing but least reported segments of the travel
industry. If youre eager to spend some quality time
with the grandkids, there is a company called GRANDTRAVEL
that can help.
Developed by a team of teachers, psychologists, and
leisure counselors, GRANDTRAVEL is dedicated to helping
grandparents create lasting memories for themselves and
their grandchildren.
This trend-setting company, which opened in 1987, was the
first to offer grandparent/grandchild-only trips. Now,
its annual excursions visit more than seventeen
domestic and international locations, including Italy,
Australia, Kenya, China, Alaska, Washington, D.C., and
Virginia. A teacher-escort introduces kids to local
culture and presides over such impromptu happenings as
hikes, games, and kite-flying contests. For more
